Right now, families with babies and toddlers aren't eligible for the no-cost "Pre-K for All" program, even though these are the most important years of brain development in a child's life. The need for quality care in the first three years is VITAL for a child's lifelong well-being and success. But access to affordable, high-quality care remains out of reach for many families.

That's why we need to raise $4,000 by May 31st, to provide scholarships for families with children under four who urgently need care.

Last week I got to spend time in Apple Playschools’ first Pre-K for all classroom. We weren’t sure if we would even fill it -- but we did, and then some! Watching the kids build an obstacle course together outside, I felt a sinking feeling for all the families who don’t qualify for GSRP because their children are still too young.

I believe every family, no matter their child's age, deserve access to high quality care.
