Green Apple has been our touchstone since settling in Michigan in 2018, caring for all three of our kids at one time or another. The school has truly fostered their authentic individuality while reinforcing the empathy and love of nature we emphasize at home. I have seen this in the countless times the staff interact with our kids as fully embodied people with real and complicated internal lives.

One of the most valuable aspects of Apple Playschools is its strong sense of community. The staff and administration have created an environment where parents and children alike feel supported and valued. This mutual care community extends beyond the classroom, allowing parents to come together and support one another in meaningful ways.

This is especially true during the community Garden Workdays, where our family joins others to build, paint, dig, plant, weed, and get muddy and messy together. These days are not just about maintaining the school grounds but also about connecting with nature and nurturing our shared space. These shared experiences have made a significant impact, not only on our children's development but also on our family as a whole.

From fostering our children's individuality to creating a supportive environment for families, Apple Playschools has been a touchstone for us.
